Georgia Football

 The Georgia Bulldogs football program is one of the most storied and successful in all of college football. With a rich history dating back to the late 19th century, the Bulldogs have established themselves as a perennial powerhouse in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) and a frequent national title contender. The origins of Georgia football can be traced back to 1892 when the school's first team took the field. Over the next several decades, the Bulldogs experienced moderate success, but it was during the tenure of head coach Vince Dooley in the 1960s and 1970s that the program truly began to flourish.
